So, the Olympics in Beijing has started. I only hope for the sake of the athletes that they have brought along a tube or two of oxygen, because trust me they will need it. I was in Beijing a few years ago and it is as bad as everyone says it is. The pictures you see doesn't lie I'm afraid. Speaking of the Olympics, how tiresome are those 4 hour long opening cermonies on a scale of 1-10? I'd say at least a 9...jeez. This one was quite ok though.

I was just thinking...Federer carried the Swiss flag again this year (couldn't they at least have gone with another tennis player - Stan perhaps?) which is a big responsibility and honour I suppose. It also makes you a 'symbolic leader' for the rest of the team in my mind. With that said, isn't it a little stange that he's not even living with the rest of the guys in the athletes village?

Hey everyone.
So, Rafa finally lost a match on clay. It took two years, but the streak is now officially broken...well, I guess it was only a matter of time. I know, it's almost a week since that final in Hamburg - because believe it or not I did watch it. Well, it's better that he lost last week than in the coming two...and I hereby join the cheering squad for a third consecutive Roland Garros victory for Rafa haha *fingers crossed*!! The French Open starts on Sunday...so what better way to start that off, than with a bunch of Rafa-icons? Here are some teasers:

Hey everyone.
All I have to say is: No, no, no, no, no!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm seriously going to cry! I mean what the hell is wrong with this season? I'll tell you what's wrong. It's that stupid, stupid bike that is screwing everything up. I guess you've already figured that Valentino didn't pull off one of his many miracles...he was about to, and was up in 4th place when that stupid bike that I mentioned earlier broke down literally! *Sniffles*.

I guess I'm just going to have to face the fact that Valentino won't get his 8th championship this year...

So, I was planning on 'celebrating' by uploading my Vale-icons...now I don't know, more like a comfort...I'm depressed, if you haven't noticed. I think I'm going to have nightmares of bad tyres and engines saying *pooff*...
